Bio-IT World
I’ve shot number of jobs for Bio-IT World over the years. They’ve always been great to work with. Good ideas, great creativity, an always a lot of freedom to create great work. This was shot for the Nov/Dec ’09 Cover. It was a fun collaborative effort from AD Mark’s very cool idea. And to make it even better, the subject, Steve Philpott, is the CIO at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, one of my favorite clients here in San Diego.

Frank – On the Trail
Frank got into his bike a lot this summer. Last summer it was the skateboard. This summer, the bike. We went on a few rides together. Not nearly enough. But the weather’s still nice and the days are still longish. So I see some more bike rides on my horizon.

TK Girls – Round 2
This series is much more in line with what I had envisioned for the Tilted Kilt Girls portraits.
I love the light, both literally and figuratively. The previous Darker Versions are growing on me, but this is the look I was going for going into this shoot.

Tilted Kilt Girls
I’ve been doing some work for The Tilted Kilt here in downtown San Diego. So in addition to shooting a number of scenarios for Ads and Collateral I did some portraits of some of the girls. The lighting turned out a little harsher than what I wanted for this first series, but I really like a how these 4 turned out. We’ll see how the next batch turns out…Thanks to everyone at the Kilt. They’re a great bunch of people to work with!
